Twin Cities nurses voted overwhelmingly today to authorize their bargaining teams to call a strike if needed. Of course, we hope that the hospitals will get back to the bargaining table to actually start negotiating and that a strike can be averted. This afternoon, MNA nurses will deliver a 10-day strike notice to 14 Twin Cities hospitals. The strike will begin at 7 a.m. on Thursday, June 10 and end at 7 a.m., Friday, June 11.
